Salvation Plan

“And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed;
it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”
Genesis 3:15

This is the most awesome promise in the Bible because it speaks of the Messiah who was to come, Jesus Christ. Through Adam’s disobedience to God’s commandment, sin entered into the world. That one act broke the relationship man had with God, as well as the supreme fellowship man had experienced with his Creator.

God, in His infinite wisdom, provided a remedy for sin—He gave the world His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. The Son became the way whereby man could be reconciled to the Father.

So, in the fullness of time, Jesus Christ was born in a manger. He grew up in the wisdom and the favor of God and man, and at the age of 33, He went to a cross to die that awful death which atoned for the sin of disobedience that Adam had committed way back in the Garden of Eden. Jesus Christ paid the penalty for sin, defeated the hold Satan had over us, and on the third day, He arose from the grave with all authority over the power and the effects of sin!

He tabernacled on this earth another forty days, declared his work here finished and then ascended on high where He now sits on the right hand of His Father. He lives forever to make intercession for us.

Therefore, because of the work of Jesus Christ on our behalf, every person has a right to be saved. You can now come boldly to the throne of grace, confess and forsake your sins and receive His wonderful pardon in you life. In other words, by faith, you can be placed back in right standing with God just as if you had never sinned. His blood cleanses you and enables you to live a life of victory in this world. You become a child of God—forever—with all of the rights and privileges of Sonship. AMEN!
